An interactive session for design teams
Interactive Session on Design Leadership

For mid-to-senior designers, emerging leaders and experienced design leaders.
Becoming a design leader is not simply a progression in title. It changes what a designer is responsible for, how they contribute and how their success is understood.
Through a talk, brief activity and open discussion, the session explores the transition from practising design to leading people, decisions and design within an organisation.
These conversations surfaced principles reflecting the realities, tensions and responsibilities of design leadership across different organisational contexts.
The talk will bring together five to six of the most relevant principles not as a prescribed leadership model, but as prompts for reflection and conversation.
